![]() ![]() Mp3tag 64-bit can only be installed on 64-bit versions of Windows. Edit: Mp3tag v3.17 now also contains a 64-bit version of TAK. But I’ve heard a 64-bit version is in the makings, so I'll add support when it's available. This DLL is unfortunately only provided as 32-bit version at the moment and 64-bit processes cannot load 32-bit DLLs. TAK is a closed-source codec that is made available in Mp3tag by utilizing a DLL. The 64-bit version has no support for TAK. While the Library feature of Mp3tag is already a very viable solution for large libraries, loosening the memory restriction is one of the key benefits of 64-bit. The 64-bit version uses 64-bits to address memory and is no longer limited to 2 GB per application. To make it short, there should not be any noticeable differences except for two things: Mp3tag now comes in two versions, the existing 32-bit and a new 64-bit version. Download the new versionĪs always, thank you for reading, your interest and your support.I've just released Mp3tag v3.15 and wanted to outline some of the new features and changes: Support for 64-bit Other Improvements and FixesĪnd there is the usual bunch of fixes and smaller improvements, which always give the feeling that this version, yes - this current one, might be the best version of Mp3tag yet. I've also added various improvements to the Web Sources Framework, something you will most likely notice only indirectly, by using one of the Tag Sources that makes use of the new features and fixes. There is always the option to increase the text and layout scaling in Windows, but I think having a slightly larger default font plays very well with this setting. ![]() Some users had difficulty seeing the texts and labels and it was one of the more common feedback. I've modernized various dialogs and increased the default font size in all dialogs and windows. I've just released Mp3tag v3.23 and wanted to outline some of the new features and changes: Modernized Dialogs and Larger Default Font ![]()
